So we can make our career with our passion . So there’s one concept which would helps you to find ur passion.

 What is the ikigai

 What is the ikigai

ikigai is a Japanese concept because of which you could discover the purpose and meaning of your life.   Ikigai is the intersection of four things.

  • Everything you’re good at,
  • Everything you love doing,
  • Everything the world wants,
  • Everything that you could be paid for.

At the intersection of these 4 components – what you’re good at, what makes you happy, something the world wants, and what you could be paid for – the combination of all four of these is your ikigai. However if the question is asked to discover your ikigai, even though the concept, structure and directions are understood, but the question is, how to practically find it And we’ll answer this question in this blog.

This is the most important thing to know about ikigai of all four things – what you like doing, what you’re good at, what the world wants, and what you could be paid for – in my opinion the most difficult thing of all four is to figure out how you could make money out of your ikigai. We all love to sing, a lot of us are good singers, the world loves to hear music, however very few people are there who could make a living out of singing, who could make this as their livelihood And there are several other examples.

My approach, is this: Firstly let’s try and understand to remove money, what you’re good at, and what makes you happy – out of the equation. For example – you have a job. That job pays your bills. That job gives you a salary every month. That salary meets your daily expenses. And if you get trapped in this thinking that this is not my ikigai, this doesn’t make me happy, I’m not good at this, or this is something which the world doesn’t need, then you’ll be trapped in this whirlwind of thoughts, and you won’t be able to discover your ikigai.

remove money from the equation. How? Ask yourself: “In order to keep myself alive, in order to keep my family secure, and to meet my minimum daily requirements, how much money would I need?”

For example, suppose you’re a bachelor. You have a family, probably no one is an earning member in your family, small family with small expenses, though big desires exist however however for today you could live a basic livelihood. And let’s say in order to maintain this basic livelihood, you need Rs. 50,000 each month. And your job pays you Rs. 50,000 each month. Now we have two ways to think about this job. First: This job pays me Rs. 50,000 each month, how to transform it into a job of Rs. 1,00,000 or Rs. 75,000 or Rs. 1,50,000 each month? And second, This job pays me Rs. 50,000, however I’m not happy with this job I can’t see myself happy in this job. While pursuing this job for the next 5-6 years, I won’t be able to say that I’m very happy in my life, or I’m very good at this, or perhaps this would make any damn difference to the world.

What does this mean? This means that you will now have to dig out time for yourself whilst keeping your salary stable. You don’t have to keep yourself immersed in this job, you dont have to attempt to increase anything here, you don’t have to attempt to grow in this job either- this job should only be viewed as a job and dig out time for yourself. What’s the purpose of taking out time for yourself? So that you could do those tasks that you’re good at, and those that could make you happy. Something that you love doing and doing which makes you happy.

All the activities that you want to pursue however your job keeps on dragging you towards it. All those acts you want to pursue that you wanted to do as a kid, however you lost yourself and you lost your way, in the race towards money make a return towards those pursuits. Or try and discover new pursuits – discover new pursuits – that you’re good at and you love doing.

Remove the pressure  make money out of that pursuit. If you want to sing, then record a song daily. Keep doing it. Over a period of time you’d get better at it. If you have that natural talent, then quite naturally, with practice, you will get better at it. Share that content Post it  on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc. If you write, then please write. Write articles, write books. If you’d like to invest, like gardening, farming, dancing – anything, that you genuinely want to do and doing which makes you happy, what you’re good at make time for that pursuit.

I hope , all you will have to discover your ikigai.
